Speaker BIO

Ana Esteban has a broad experience of over 15 years working in digital communications at the European Union Institutions (Commission and Parliament) and NATO. She started her career working for the Spanish Ministry for Industry in the United States, but quickly moved to Brussels where she has been developing most of her career. Graduated in International relations, early on she specialised in marketing and communication. Her curiosity and enthusiasm for technology and communications, quickly made her an early adopter of social media communication in the Institutional world, which encompassed breaking some walls and pushing for bold culture management in rigid environments.

In her current position as Principal editor at NATO HQ, Ana leads a team of nearly 20 people in charge of multimedia production, web edition for NATO’s website, and social media strategy and management of NATO flagship accounts.
